4.4　Railroad

4.4.1　No railroad shall be set up within any warehouse storing materials with fire hazard in Class A and B.

4.4.2　The curve radius of the interval line，tie line，running line and connection line shall be no less than 300m.For restricted areas，such curve radius shall be no less than 180m.The minimum curve radius of the adjoining railroad line to the warehouse shall be no less than 150m.

4.4.3　The loading/unloading line shall be arranged in straight line，or in curve with radius no less than 600m，if located in a restricted area.

4.4.4　The distance between the stop buffer of the stub-end railroad loading/unloading line and the last parking space shall be determined according to the characteristics of the materials to be transported，normally no less than 20m for materials with fire hazard in Class A and B，and no less than 15m for materials with fire hazard in Class C.

4.4.5　Grade crossing shall be provided at the intersection of the railroad with the road.Such crossing shall be leveled and placed at a straight section with a good visual range.Within 50m from the grade crossing，the sight distance of both the motor vehicle driver and the train driver should be no less than those specified in Table 4.4.5 below.

4.4.6　Under the following cases，special person shall be assigned to guard the grade crossing if no safety measures can be taken:

1　The primary road in the warehouse area with heavy traffic has a grade crossing with the railroad line.

2　The sight distance of the motor vehicle driver and the train driver fails to meet the requirements specified in Table 4.4.5 above.

4.4.7　The type and location of the railroad track scale shall be determined according to the product measurement requirements and the process requirements.The railroad track scale line shall be a dedicated through line，not acting concurrently as a running line.Straight line shall be provided at both ends nearest to the railroad track scale，at least 25.0m long.In case of using dynamic track scale，such straight line shall be no less than 50.0m long.
