1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This Code is developed to implement the relevant national policies，unify technical requirements and maintain safety，reliability，advanced technology and economic rationality in the design of the general warehouses and laydown areas for the petrochemical plants.

1.0.2　This Code is applicable to the design of the new，expansion and modification work of the general warehouse and laydown area in petrochemical industry for storage of solid materials，barreled or bottled liquid materials and gaseous materials.

This Code is also applicable to the design of the warehouse and laydown area relying on social resources.

1.0.3　In addition to this Code，the design of the general petrochemical warehouse and laydown area shall also comply with current national codes and standards.
